What is recorded here

On a gentle NE-facing slope of the broad WNW-ESE Carnfree ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30.4m NE-SW; 29.2m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.7-4.3m; int. H 0.6m at NE to 1.1m at NW; ext. H 1.6-2m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 5.2-6.2m generally to 9.4m at SE; Wth of base 1.4-2m; D 0.4-0.6m generally to 1.3m SE-SW), which is absent W-NW (max. ext. diam. 46m NE-SW; 45.3m NW-SE).
