Indicated on the 1837 and 1930 eds of the OS 6-inch map as an enclosure cut by an E-W road. Situated on a broad plateau. An arc (C 22m E-W) of an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.8m), frequently reduced to a scarp (H 0.6-0.7m) and with slight traces of a fosse (Wth of base 3m) survives NW-NE on the N side of the Strokestown - Tulsk road (N5). A section of the perimeter survives S of the road incorporated into a curving field bank (Wth 1.6m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.3m) SW-W (diam. c. 39m N-S; c. 36m E-W).
