On a W and SW-facing slope. Lines of rectangular pits covering an area of c. 4 ha (c. 10 acres) are visible on aerial photographs (ACAP: 206/2, 3), but there are no pits visible here now. Some pits are also visible on photographs (CUCAP: AVH; 96, 97).
