Visible on aerial photographs (ACAP: V206/5-6) extending NW-SE and crossing the E end of a low E-W ridge (L. c. 600 m) at its N end. On the S side of the ridge it is crossed by the NE-SW Tulsk - Castlerea road (R 367) and its NW end terminates where it meets the Ogulla - Rathmoyle road. Between these public roads it appears to have been a path (Wth c. 10m) bounded at W by and earthen bank and at E by a field wall. It is no longer visible at ground level.
Between the two public roads this road was crossed by a NE-SW road (RO028-008002-), which is no longer visible, extending from Toomona friary (RO028-009001-) at the SW end to the vicinity of Ogulla well (RO022-106003-) (L c. 1.2 km). About 300m NE of Toomona friary this road was distinct (L c. 350m; Wth c. 5m) bounded by earthen banks as far as the junction with (RO028-008001-) but was less certain as it approached Ogulla. Most of this road is no longer visible.
About 400m S of the Tulsk - Castlerea road (R367) there was a section (L c. 200m) bounded by earthen banks, which no longer survives. This section may have extended ESE (L c. 900m) to meet the roads (RO028-065001-) and (RO028-062001-).
The road (RO028-006----) approaches the junction of roads (RO028-008001-) and (RO028-008002-) from the W, but disappears c. 350m short of this point.
