Towards the E end of a broad E-W ridge. Described in 1979 as a circular area (diam. 29m E-W; 28m N-S) defined by an earthen bank SSE-NW and a scarp (H c. 1m at N) elsewhere, with traces of a fosse N-NE and an entrance (Wth c. 4m) at E (SMR file). It is now visible as a circular grass-covered area (diam 31.5m E-W; 30.7m N-S) defined by the lush growth of a fosse (Wth 3.5-4.5m) with an entrance gap (Wth 4m) at E. It is within field system (RO022-102002-) and rath (RO022-102001-) is c. 170m to the NW.
