There is a description of what might be a blocked souterrain at Drishaghaun West discovered in 1959, with a slight rise around it suggestive of the site of a fort (NMI file), but both the location and the authenticity of the site are doubtful. Local enquiries failed to elucidate matters.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
