Marked as a circular embanked feature (ext. diam. c. 20m) on the 1837 and 1927 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the bottom of the SW-facing slope of a broad NW-SE ridge. Described as a circular mound surrounded by a rounded fosse (Gannon 1972), it is not now visible at ground level in pasture. Barrow (RO027-049----) is c. 250m to the SW and barrow (RO027-051----) is c. 370m to the SE.
