Marked on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a circular feature (diam. c. 20m) and situated on the crest of a NW-SE ridge. Grass-covered and round-topped earthen mound which has a sub-rectangular base (dims 11.2m N-S; 11m E-W; H 1.6m at N to 2.4m at S) where some old field banks have been removed. The base of the mound is overlain by a N-S field bank at E.
