On the crest of a broad NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 39m E-W; 35.7m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5-3.4m generally to 8m at E; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.5-0.7m) WNW-N-ESE reduced to a scarp (H 0.6m) elsewhere, and a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 10-13m; Wth of base 3.5m at E to 10m at W; D 0.1-0.3m) SW-N-ESE with traces of an outer bank (Wth 5m; ext.
