Marked as a subcircular or oval embanked area (ext. dims c. 55m N-S; c. 45m E-W) on the 1837 and 1929 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle N-facing slope. Described as a rath with an earthen bank (Gannon 1972), it is not now visible at ground level in pasture, apart from a field bank and hedge at SW (L c. 25m) and W (L c. 30m).
