Marked only on the 1929 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small quarry (dims c. 20m E-W; c. 15m N-S), and situated on a level landscape. It is now a landscaped embankment fronting a row of houses. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
