On the crest of a low E-W ridge which is at the N base of a WNW-ESE ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 48m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.6-3.7m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.9-1.1m) and outer fosse (Wth of base 2.1m; D 0.2m) N-SE, and by a scarp (H 0.4m) SW-N while the perimeter is replaced by a field wall SE-SW. The entrance (Wth 2.5m) and causeway (Wth 3.5m) are at NE, and the interior is bisected by a NNE-SSW field wall. Rath (RO026-014----) is c. 30m to the E.
