On a gentle S-facing slope of a plateau. Circular grass-covered (int. diam. 34.1m N-S; 33.5m E-W) defined by a rebuilt wall (Wth 1.8-2.2m; int. H 1-1.3m; ext. H 1.2-1.9m) on the line of the cashel wall, the outer face of which survives (H 1.3m) N-E, and inner and outer facing stones can be seen at the base of the wall all around. There are modern entrances at WNW (Wth 1.1m) and NW (Wth 3.2m), but the wall has collapsed S-W. Cashel (RO025-008001-) is 110m to the NW, the possible cashel (RO025-009----) is 180m to the ENE, and building (RO025-011001-) is c. 100m to the SW.
