Situated in Cloonshannagh bog, c. 20m ESE of the E end of togher (RO024-024----) and c. 38m NNE of platform (RO024-045----). This platform (Wth 2.3m; T 0.5m) was 0.5m below the field surface. It was orientated E-W and was composed of moderately well preserved tightly packed randomly laid roundwood and brushwood, in two clusters laid 0.4m apart. The elements were densely laid up to 0.06m apart within each of the clusters. The roundwood and brushwood ranged from 0.06 to 0.1m and from 0.01 to 0.05m in diameter, respectively The underlying peat was composed of moderately humified Sphagnum-rich peat with occasional Eriophorum inclusions.
