What is recorded here

This site was exposed in a drain face, 0.27m below the field surface. The platform (Wth 2.1m; T 0.3m) was orientated E-W and was composed of moderately well preserved randomly laid roundwood and brushwood longitudinals. The elements were sparsely laid, on average, 0.44m apart. The roundwood and the brushwood measured 0.07m and from 0.03 to 0.045m in diameter, respectively. The underlying peat was composed of moderate humified Sphagnum-rich peat with frequent Eriophorum inclusions. Platform (RO024-038----) is c. 11m to the ESE.
