At the crest of a gentle W-facing slope. Described as a circular area (diam. 31m) defined by an earthen bank and slight traces of an outer fosse (Gannon 1972). It is now visible as a flat area (diam. 30m E-W) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.6m) at W and by forestry drains elsewhere. It remains unplanted in a young coniferous forest. Rath (RO024-001----) is c. 210m to the NNW.
