On a gentle E-facing slope. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 39m N-S; 38.5m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 2.6-3.6m; int. H 0.6-0.9m; ext. H 0.8-1.2m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.8m) NNE-ESE, and a fosse (Wth of top 3.4-4.2m; Wth of base 1.9-2.2m; D 0.6-0.9m) ESE-W-NNE. There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO024-003----) is c. 210m to the SSE.
