Just off the crest of a ridge, on a gentle E-facing slope overlooking a S-N section of the Scramoge River, c. 250m to the E. Circular overgrown area (diam. 40.4m N-S; 37m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.8-5.7m; int. H 0.6-1.1m; ext. H 1-1.7m) with inner facing-stones at the W, and a rounded outer fosse (Wth of top 5.8-9m; Wth of base 3-3.6m; D 0.2-0.5m) SW-N-NE which is re-cut as a drain NE-ESE. The entrance (Wth 3.5m) is at E.
