What is recorded here

On the crest of the S-facing slope of a low E-W drumlin ridge at its W end. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 38.5m NE-SW; 37.2m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 4.3-4.4m; int. H 0.3-0.4m; ext. H 0.7m at NE to 1.8m at SW) which is reduced to a scarp ENE-ESE where the entrance may have been, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 5.3m; Wth of base 2.3m; D 0.3m) NW-E-SE. The fosse is curtailed by an E-W road bank at S, and the monument is circumscribed by a road SW-W. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
