At the S-facing crest of a low ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30.8m E-W; 30.2m N-S) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 3-5.5m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 0.8-1.2m), which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.2m) SE-WSW, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.6-6.6m; Wth of base 2.3-2.9m; D 0.2-0.5m). There is no identifiable original entrance and the site is overlain by a N-S field bank towards the perimeter at E. Rath (RO023-174----) is c. 90m to the NE and rath (RO023-176----) is c. 180m to the SSE.
