Towards the top of a steep N-facing slope at the W end of a WNW-ESE drumlin ridge. Subcircular grass and rush-covered area (dims 44.4m E-W; 38.6m N-S) which slopes down to the N (H of slope 2m) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 2-3.4m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 0.8m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.6m ) E-SSW. There are internal facing-stones at W, but there is no visible fosse. The modernised entrance (Wth 3m) is at ENE. Church (RO023-195001-) is c. 200m to the SW.
