On a gentle N-facing slope. Circular rush and scrub-covered area (diam. 30m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (at N: Wth 2.1m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.9m) N-E-S, and by a scarp (at S: H 0.5m) which is frequently obscured by field spoil elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, and the monument is bisected by a N-S field bank. Rath (RO023-160----) is c. 210m to the ESE.
