What is recorded here

At the S end of the broad crest of a N-S ridge. Circular overgrown area (diam. c. 38m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-3.6m; int. H 0.5-0.7m; ext. H 1-1.4m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 2m) SE-SSW, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.7-6.5m; Wth of base 3m; D 0.5-0.8m) which has been deepened into a pond (dims c. 8m x c. 6m; D 1.2m) at NE. The original entrance is not identified. The large enclosure (RO023-099001-) is c. 150m to the NNW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
