Marked as a circular embanked and wooded enclosure (ext. diam. c. 55-60m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as D-shaped (dims c. 60m E-W; c. 40m N-S) on the 1914 ed. Situated on the crest of the NW end of a low NW-SE drumlin ridge, it is not visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture.
