Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 30m) on the 1837 and 1914 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on the gentle S-facing slope of a low ridge. Described as a small enclosure (diam. 21m E-W) defined by a slight earthen bank (Gannon 1972), it is not now visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture. Rath (RO023-089----) is c. 35m to the N.
