On a gentle S-facing slope on a fairly level landscape. Circular grass and reed-covered area (diam. 33.2m E-W; 32.9m N-S) defined by the shallow remains of a reed-filled fosse (Wth 3.6-4.5m; D 0.1-0.2m). The monument is bisected by an ENE-WSW field wall and hedge.
