Just below the summit of the col between Greywood Hill c. 700m to the NNW and Mullaghcreigha c. 1km to the SSE, on the E-facing slope. D-shaped grass and scrub-covered area (dims c. 40m E-W; c. 30m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.6-5.8m; int. H 0.4-1.1m; ext. H 1.2-1.5m) SW-NE separated by a fosse (Wth of top 7.9-8.1m; Wth of base 3.6-4m; D 1-1.2m) from an overgrown outer bank (Wth 6.2-7.8m; ext. H 0.5m) and external fosse (Wth of base 2.1-2.6m; D 0.3-0.5m) which survive NW-E-SE (max. ext. diam. c. 80m). There is no visible entrance although a possible entrance with a causeway has been noted at WSW (Gannon 1972), and the interior has been damaged by quarrying. Souterrain (RO023-077002-) is in the NW quadrant of the interior. Two fragments of quernstones (RO023-077003-; RO023-077004-) were found at the site, one of which is now in NMI but the other is now lost. Rath (RO023-070001-) is c. 220m to the NNW.
