On the N-facing slope of an E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 31.6m N-S; 29.7m E-W) which slopes down to the N (H of slope 1.6m) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at N: Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.8m) SSW-N-ESE, and an outer fosse (at N: Wth of top 3m; Wth of base 2m; D 0.3m) SW-N-NNE. There are entrance gaps at NE (Wth 5m) and SW (Wth 3m). Rath (RO023-058----) is c. 220m to the WSW and rath (RO023-060----) is c. 210m to the SE.
