On a gentle E-facing slope at the E end of a low W-E spur. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 50m E-W; 49m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.7-4.4m; int. H 0.6-0.9m; ext. H 0.7-1.2m) E-S-W which merges into the ground elsewhere and which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.4m) at S. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, but it is circumscribed by a hedge E-S-W.
