On a N-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (dims. 58m NNW-SSE; 37.6m ENE-WSW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4-5m; int. H 0.3-0.7m; ext. H 0.3m at S to 1.1m at WSW) which is reduced to an overgrown scarp (H 1.2m) NW-NNE. There are slight traces of a fosse (Wth of base 2-3m; D 0.3-0.5m) NNE-SE and SSW-NW. There is a modern entrance (Wth 2m) at W, but an original entrance could not be recognised. A slight E-W scarp down to the N (H 0.8m) crosses the centre, and a N-S field bank overlies the interior towards the perimeter at E.
