At the crest of the N-facing slope at the E end of an E-W drumlin ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 36.7m N-S; 34.2m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.2-4.8m; int. H 0.2m at E to 1m at W) which is reduced to an overgrown scarp NW-NE where the site is curtailed by an E-W field bank, and a fosse (Wth of top 4.4m; Wth of base 2.2-2.4m; D 0.6m) SE-W-NNW. The original entrance is not identified. Rath (RO023-016----) is c. 30m to the SE.
