On the broad crest of a low E-W ridge. Circular grass and scrub-covered platform (diam. 31.2m E-W; 28.6m N-S; H 0.5m at E to 1.5m at N) with slight traces of a bank (Wth of top 1.3-1.8m; int. H 0.2m) at E and W defined by a fosse (Wth of top 4.8-5.8m generally to 8m at N; Wth of base 3-4.2m; D 0.5-1.1m), and an overgrown outer bank (Wth 2.6-4.6m; H 0.4-0.6m) which does not survive at N. There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO023-006----) is c. 160m to the E.
