At the N-facing crest of an E-W drumlin ridge. Oval flat-topped and grass-covered mound (dims of top 14m NE-SW; 10.4m NW-SE; dims of base 17m NW-SW; 14.4m NW-SE; H 0.7m at SW to 1.4m generally) defined by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6.7-7.3m; Wth of base 3.5-4.5m; D 0.3-0.4m) and outer bank (Wth 1m at SW to 3.4m at NW; ext. H 0.2-0.6m) which is incorporated into a field bank (Wth 4.4-5.4m; int. H 1.2-1.8m; ext. H 0.5-0.8m) NE-S (max. ext. dims 32.7m N-S; 29m E-W). There is an entrance (Wth 3.5m) in the bank at S. Archaeological testing (05E0385) c. 130m to the SW failed to produce any related material (Read, C. 2008h).
