Just off the S-facing crest of an E-W drumlin ridge. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 44.3m N-S; 41.8m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5-6m; int. H 0.3m at S to 1.4m at N; ext. H 1.3m at S to 2m at N) and rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.5-6.2m; Wth of base 2m; D 0.5-0.6m). The entrance (Wth 3.5m) and causeway (Wth 3.5m) are at SE, and the outer edge of the fosse is clipped by an E-W field bank at N, while a N-S field bank is just to the E. Rath (RO022-129----) is c. 180m to the WNW along the ridge and rath (RO022-136----) is c. 250m to the ESE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
