Visible on aerial photographs (ACAP V206/50, 51). On the S shore at the W end of the W part of Clooncullaan Lough (dims. c. 800m E-W; c. 100-200m N-S) at the point where the W end of the lake turns S. Oval grass-covered island (dims. 18m E-W; 10m N-S; H 0.5m) of humus on top of marl. There is no evidence of artificial construction.
