Visible on aerial photograph (OS: 4 2052-3), and situated on a SE-facing slope overlooking Lough O'Donnellan, a sub-oval lake (dims c. 160m NW-SE; c. 100m NE-SW), which is c. 100m to the SE. This is a rectangular grass-covered area (dims 22m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by earthen banks (Wth 2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m). There is no visible entrance, and it is bisected diagonally by a NE-SW field wall while its N and E sides are incorporated into relict field banks.
