On a rise in an undulating landscape. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 34.8m N-S; 30.6m E-W) which slopes down to the E (H of slope c. 2m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.9m) SW-NW, and scarps (H 0.5m) on the straightened E (L 20m) and S (L 15.5m) sides. There is no visible fosse, and an entrance (Wth 3m) at SSW might not be original.
