On top of Rathcroghan mound (RO022-057010-) at the highest point of the Rathcroghan plateau. Oval grass-covered mound (dims. 9m N-S; 6m E-W; H 0.2 -0.3m), which may have had a fosse (Knox 1911, 99). (Herity 1983, 130; Waddell, 1983, 27, Pl. 1)
