At the bottom of the E-facing slope of Rathcroghan. Oval grass and rush-covered area (dims 30m E-W; 24m N-S) defined by a fosse (Wth of top 4.5m; D 0.2m) at S and a slight scarp (H 0.1m at E to 0.5m SW-N-E) elsewhere. Holy well (RO022-056039-) is c. 250m to the NE and church (RO022-056040-) is c. 60m to the SSW.
