On the N-facing slope of Rathcroghan ridge. Pits are visible on aerial photograph (ACAP: V 206/ 32, 31; OS /4237) in an area of c. 5 ha (c. 11 acres). A band of 4 lines of ENE-WSW pits (dims c. 10m x c. 2m) create dashed lines (max. L c. 300m) in an area of c. 4 ha (c. 9 acres).
