In the central part of Clooncullaan Lough (max. dims. c. 300m N-S; c. 200m E-W). Circular grass and scrub-covered island (diam. 16.4m E-W; 15.4m N-S; H 1m) built on marl. There is no evidence of arteficial construction. Possible crannogs (RO022-055002-; RO022-055003-) are c. 110-120m to the NNW and N.
