What is recorded here

On a knoll on the NW-facing slope of a broad hill. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 35.6m N-S; 35m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.5-4m; int. H 0.2-0.8m; ext. H 1.2m at S to 1.8m at N), and a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 5-6.2m; D 0.2-0.4m) NE-S-W. The entrance (Wth 2.6m) and causeway (Wth 2.6m) are at NE, but there are secondary entrance gaps at SSE (Wth 5m) and NW (Wth 1.6m). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
