What is recorded here

On a rise at the E end of a broad E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (33.4m N-S; 32.3m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-3.7m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.9-1.1m) SW-N-ENE, with a fosse (Wth of top 5m; Wth of base 2.4m; D 0.1m) W-NNW. The perimeter is defined by a scarp (H 0.8m) S-SW, but cannot be traced elsewhere. There are entrances at NNW (Wth 2.4m) and NNE (Wth 3m), and an E-W farm track overlies the S part of the monument. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
