On the N-facing slope of an E-W ridge. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 48m N-S; 42m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-3m; int. H 0.3-0.4m; ext. H 0.6-1.2m) NW-E-SW, with a fosse visible as a band of rushes (Wth 2-3m) NW-E-SE. The site is truncated by a N-S field bank at W (L 30m), and the fosse is re-cut as a drain SE-SW. The entrance (Wth 1.8m) and causeway (Wth 3.5m) are at E.
