On the floor of an E-W valley. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 38.6m N-S; 38.6m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 4.5-5.3m; int. H 0.3m W-N to 1m E-S; ext. H 1.5-1.8m), and traces of a fosse visible as a band of rushes (Wth 2m) at N and SE-S. There are entrances at SSE (Wth 3.6m) and NE (Wth 1.8m), the latter probably being original although widened (Wth 5.8m) and with a causeway (Wth 4.5m).
