On a gentle N-facing slope. A field with some shallow quarries, now grass-covered, has a relict field bank (Wth 3m; H 0.3m) running N-S (L 160m) with a field bank running WNW from a point 34m from its S end. There are also some E-W field banks to the NW, covering an area of c. 5 ha (c. 13 acres).
