On the gentle N-facing slope of a WNW-ESE ridge. An area of c. 5 ha (c. 12 acres) contains pits visible on aerial photograph (ACAP: V206/7). Some pits (dims c. 5m x c. 2m; D c. 0.2m) survive in rough lines running E-W and placed c. 30m apart.
