On an undulating landscape, including within it two slight NE-SW ridges on the Rathcroghan plateau. The cropmark of a large subcircular enclosure (diam. c. 250m NE-SW; c. 230m NW-SE) is recorded on aerial photographs (Waddell 1983, 35,38). The perimeter can be seen in interrupted sections as a slight fosse (Wth c. 2m; D 0.2m), with traces of an inner bank (Wth c. 10m) at SE (Waddell 1983, 35, No. 24; Waddell 1988, 8). It is bisected by a road (RO012-042010-) and the possible barrow (RO021-042012-) is inside the perimeter at E. (Waddell et al. 2009, 55-8)
