Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and situated on a gentle SE-facing slope. This is a D-shaped raised grass-covered area (dims 32m N-S; 20.2m E-W) defined by a scarp and hedge (H 1-1.2m) NE-SSW and a curving field wall NNW-NE, but the perimeter has been quarried away at W (D c. 2m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
