On a broad drumlin. Subcircular grass-covered area (diam. 20m NE-SW; 18m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.1-1.4m) ESE-SW, a scarp (H 0.9m) SW-NW, and an outer fosse (Wth of base 1.4-1.8m; D 0.3-0.5m) NW-E-SW. A NW-SE laneway (Wth 3.6m) overlies the interior SW of the centre, and bisects the surviving part of the bank. Rath (RO017-179----) is c. 200m to the ENE.
